The long-celebrated anime and manga character Great Teacher Onizuka stars in GTO THE MOVIE, his first live-action film. After getting a job as a teacher, the former punk and rebel finds that his martial arts skills and bad attitude come in handy when he must keep his students in line. When not chain smoking or looking at his female pupils inappropriately, Onizuka attempts to whip the kids into shape by playing disciplinarian and even matchmaker, all the while running away from allegations that he is actually a thief.

A Spanish spin on films like REALITY BITES, ANO DE LA GARRAPATA (YEAR OF THE SLACKER) is a comedy about a college graduate with too much time on his hands and no clue what to do with it. Fran (Felix Gomez) has finally finished school after spending nine years at his university, constantly putting off the dilemma he now finds himself in. Pressured by his parents to get a job that he doesn`t want, and emasculated by the success his PhD-bound girlfriend is having, Fran fails to find anything that really engages him. However, salvation may come in the form of his friend Morgan (Javier Viega), who has raised the ability of leeching off his parents to an art form. ANO DE LA GARRAPATA is wacky comedy that mines the alienation and dissatisfaction of youth for laughs while still respecting the roots of those feelings.
