Eventually she wins out, however, and in the meantime her daughters are growing up, creating a whole new slew of comic situations. After tragically becoming a widow, Margaret Delafield (Jatharine Hepburn) gets her life back on course, with comedic results in this family-oriented romp. Unfortunately Margaret`s family don`t approve of her decision to date her Jewish doctor, Marvin Elias (Harold Gould) after she recovers from an illness, and nor do his family!
