Funnyman Weird Al Yankovic stars in this comedy as George Newman, a man who takes over a low-rent TV station won by his uncle in a poker game. Newman's unconventional methods for boosting ratings include giving the station's janitor his own children's program -- with spectacularly successful results. Craig's girlfriend Simone works at the County General hospital, situated squarely in the ghetto, where she swears the insanity must be seen to be believed. From incompetent doctors to sexy nurses and completely eccentric patients, Simone thinks the inhabitants of the hospital are the perfect fodder for a successful film.
