Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey) return in this sequel to the 1992 pop-culture time capsule WAYNE'S WORLD. The boys still have their Aurora, Illinois cable access show, Wayne is still dating Cassandra (Tia Carrere) and Garth has even found love in the form of Honee Hornee (Kim Basinger). After sleazy record producer Bobby Cahn (Christopher Walken) attempts to lure the foxy Cassandra away from Wayne, a stress-induced dream transports Wayne to a meeting in the desert with late Doors vocalist Jim Morrison, where the deceased rock hero convinces Wayne to organize a huge outdoor rock festival in Aurora called Waynestock. A beleaguered Chicago furniture executive, George Lollar, (Charles Grodin) takes his family on a Caribbean vacation only to find that their vacation paradise is in reality a sleazy singles` hangout. The tropical `paradise` has soldiers, a surly staff and ugly tourists, but only Lollar manages to not enjoy his stay.

Given George Stevens' penchant for romantic comedy, it's probably not surprising that the WWII housing crunch in Washington, D.C. could provide fertile grounds for his imagination. The city's dearth of apartments has made things difficult even for 60-year-old millionaire Benjamin Dingle (Charles Coburn) who answers an ad for an apartment share only to find a long line of prospective tenants ahead of him. Claiming to be the apartment's tenant, he dismisses the others, before encountering Connie Milligan (Jean Arthur), the real leaseholder. Despite her initial reluctance to rent to a man, she gives him a trial week. While she's out the next day, Sgt. Joe Carter (Joel McCrea) arrives to inquire about the ad, and the enterprising Coburn offers him half of his room, which he accepts. Connie is angry after finding out about the second sublet and orders them both to leave, but realizes she has to let them stay, since she can't return their money, which she's already spent. Written by and starring Charles Busch, DIE MOMMIE DIE premiered in Dramatic Competition at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival where Charles Busch was awarded a special performance Jury Prize.

Created as an ode to the Ross Hunter-style big-screen soaps of the 60's, DIE MOMMIE DIE features theater veteran Busch as the fallen pop diva, Angela Arden. When Angela's husband, Sol (Hall), discovers that she's having an affair with tennis pro, gigolo and failed actor Tony Parker (Priestley), Angela calculatedly offs him with a poisoned suppository, or does she? What follows is a hilarious mixture of whodunits and double-crossings involving Bootsie (Conroy), the ill-fated family maid, Edith (Lyonne), Angela and Sol's spoiled, vampy daughter and Lance (Sands), their boy-toy son.
