DR. DOLITTLE: A remake of the 1967 Richard Fleischer film of the same name, about an animal doctor whose patients` barks, squeals, and meows turn into actual human voices, stirring up the practice. Eddie Murphy updates the role as a San Francisco doctor who as a boy was considered strange by everyone when he claimed he could talk to animals. Now an adult, a near-wreck stirs something in him and suddenly he can understand the animals again, whether he wants to or not.GARFIELD: THE MOVIE: The popular long-running comic strip about the fat and lazy cat named Garfield comes to life with this live-action Hollywood comedy. Based on characters created by Jim Davis, the film tells the story of this supremely spoiled pet, who wants the affection of everyone around him, only he wants it on his own terms. Trouble arises one day when, under the influence of the beautiful veterinarian Liz (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Garfield`s owner Jon (Breckin Meyer) stuns him by bringing home a cuddly dog, Odie. Jealous of the attention Odie is receiving, Garfield locks the dog out of the house. Odie runs away, and when he`s kidnapped by the evil television personality Happy Chapman (Stephen Tobolowsky), Garfield realizes his mistake, and embarks on a brave mission to rescue his new housemate.

Some describe this venture as the beginning of HBOs golden era. This show is like the male version of SEX AND THE CITY, depicting the life and times of a 30-something literary type who whittles away the hours masterminding ways to hook up with the opposite sex. Both shows also employ the use of ample nudity and simulated sex, though DREAM ON certainly was first to attempt it. Martin Tupper (Brian Benben) is a divorced book publisher who tries as best he can to raise a teenage son (Chris Demetral) and remain friends with his psychotherapist ex-wife Judith (Wendie Malick). Though he frequently is shown dating and seducing many a woman, he is not-so secretly still in love with Judith. This passion burns all the more brightly when she marries a brilliant scientific genius that annoyingly embodies the idea of Renaissance Man. This story is punctuated by Martin's subconscious, which often takes the form of interjected old movie clips (similar to the quirky daydreams that gave Ally McBeal such a charmingly complex personality). The dated sound bytes from the films juxtaposed with modern scenarios, draws some serious giggles. The MTV film EVERYBODY'S DOING IT explores the politics and difficulties of sex education for teens. Angela and Travis are two high schoolers who, after careful consideration, believe they are ready to have sex. Unfortunately, their school suddenly starts up an abstinence-only education program, which denies them some much-needed information. What's more, overachiever Caroline begins collecting abstinence pledges from everyone in school, making Angela and Travis' decision public information. Following in the footsteps of WIN A DATE WITH TAD HAMILTON and THE PRINCESS DIARIES, THE PRINCE AND ME is a modern-day fairy tale with a feminist twist. Julia Stiles stars as Paige Morgan, a hardworking, pre-med senior at the University of Wisconsin. A local farm girl, she has little interest in romance and is happiest when dreaming of having a future career working for Doctors Without Borders. All of that changes when she meets Edvard (Luke Mably), the crown prince of Denmark, who is posing as a run-of-the-mill foreign exchange student named Eddie in order to escape the prying eyes of the Danish paparazzi and his princely duties.
