In this comedy of misplaced expectations, two brothers (David Arquette and Tim Blake Nelson) living in the midwestern United States long for the old days when women followed traditional lives as wives and homemakers. When their mother passes away, the men realize how indispensable she had been around the house. Believing that they need a wife to take over where their mom left off, they travel to Russia seeking a woman (Emily Mortimer) to marry one of them--but all they really need is a housekeeper!

Ten year-old dog walker Owen (Liam Aiken) takes a trip to the pound and picks out an adorable, pensive mutt he decides to call Hubble. What Liam doesn't know is that Hubble has just arrived from Sirius (The Dog Star) for the purpose of checking up on the canine colonization that began thousands of years ago. A trip to Hubble's crashed spacecraft allows Liam to hear his new pal's voice (Matthew Broderick), along with those of the five dogs he routinely walks: robust Boxer Wilson (Donald Faison), jittery Italian Greyhound Nelly (Brittany Murphy), flatulent Burmese Mountain Dog Shep (Carl Reiner), and high-maintenance Poodle Barbara Ann (Delta Burke). Hubble is greatly troubled to discover that his kind have become pets on Earth, a fact that he is rather nervous to have to report to his leader, the Greater Dane (voiced by Vanessa Redgrave)--who will be arriving on Earth very shortly to check up on the colonization.A family film that provides ample amusement for dog lovers of any age, GOOD BOY is as close as anyone will get to hearing man's best friend talk. The illusion was skillfully created by the reliable Jim Henson Creature Shop, and young Aiken's performance makes the illusion all the more believable. The vocal talents of Broderick, Murphy, Faison, Reiner, and Burke give distinct personalities to their characters, with each getting their own moment to shine.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Stereo Surround - French Stereo Surround - SpanishAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1. The Brothers (DVD) The Brothers (DVD) » The Brothers (DVD)

Dubbed Refusing to Exhale by director Gary Hardwick, THE BROTHERS traces the hilarious journey of four African-American men as they take on love, sex, friendship and two of life's most terrifying prospects--honesty and commitment. Smart, successful, and sexy, Jackson Smith (Morris Chestnut), Brian Palmer (Bill Bellamy), Derrick West (D.L. Hughley) and Terry White (Shemar Moore) are The Brothers--lifelong friends banded together to weather love's innate terrors and occasional triumphs in this brazenly comic yet painfully true exploration of the battle between the sexes. Amidst the career track, basketball, and bar hopping, The Brothers love women, as many as possible, but a shocking revelation tests the foursome's friendship and changes their dating habits forever. In between the fast-quipping one-liners, each of the four brothers faces a challenge that must be overcome in order to mature into full manhood. The strength of THE BROTHERS rests in the emotional variety of these challenges, which range from Brian's tragic relationship with his mother to Derrick's hysterical sexual problems with his wife. And regardless of the tone of each subplot, Hardwick's characters are well rounded, and filled out by the excellent acting of Chestnut, Hughley, and the gorgeous Gabrielle Union in the female lead.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseAnamorphic WidescreenAudio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Dolby Digital 2.0 - French Subtitles - English, French - OptionalAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1. Alex and Emma (DVD) Alex and Emma (DVD) » Alex and Emma (DVD)

ALEX AND EMMA is the perfect date movie, courtesy of veteran comedy director Rob Reiner (THE PRINCESS BRIDE, THIS IS SPINAL TAP). Luke Wilson plays Alex, a struggling writer who owes $100,000 to Cuban loan sharks. If he could only finish his romance novel in thirty days he would earn a big enough advance to pay them off, but before he can even start, the thugs destroy his lap top. Enter Emma (Kate Hudson) the prim, highly opinionated stenographer Alex convinces to help him. The rest of the film then oscillates between their present-day budding romance and the 1920s setting of Alex's story, wherein a tutor named Adam (Wilson again) takes a job at a lush country manor and falls for his beautiful employer, Polina (Sophie Marceau). Hudson appears in the story as Anna, the au pair of Adam's student, and with Emma's input, her character eventually supplants Polina as the novel's primary romantic heroine. All in all, it's an amusing tale of how real-life romance can affect the outcome of romantic fiction, and is loosely based on the true story of Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky, who fell in love with his own stenographer over the course of writing THE GAMBLER. In the Emma/Anna role, Hudson proves herself an adept comedienne, and she and Wilson share a natural, easygoing chemistry.DVD Features:Region 1Snap CaseWidescreen - 1.85Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Dolby Digital 5.1 - FrenchAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1.
