Scott Dikkers, editor-in-chief of THE ONION, America`s finest news source, directed this film about a young boy who was abducted by aliens and returned to Earth as a man with incredible powers. Programmed as a warrior-drone and wanting to fit in on Earth, Spaceman finds work as a mob hitman. However, when his foreign code of honor forces him to botch a hit, Spaceman finds himself on the run from his employers. Accompanied by a beautiful young woman, Spaceman goes on the run and decides to look for his long lost mother. No mere spoof, SPACEMAN refrains from the excesses of films like THE NAKED GUN and plays its premise straight, making the film a hilarious update of the 1950s B-films that it lovingly plunders.
