A mockumentary that aims for social critique, MUFFIN MAN is the debut feature from writer-director Jessica Eisner. Scientists from the future are investigating the evolution of mankind from Homo Sapiens to Homo Twinkus, and its subsequent extinction from unrestrained eating. Linked to this history lesson is the tale of hefty Jack, who meets the lithe Hope and resolves to curb his own excesses. But first, he must deal with Hope's jealous ex-boyfriend, and his own ex-lover Pumpkin.
